Well, no, I’m not going anywhere. (Ha! No news there.)
It’s NaNoWriMo time again, though, and figuratively, I’m leaving for Writing Land for the month of November. This year it’s a book called “Liters and Peppers,” inspired by students during my years as an ESL teacher. So far, it’s going pretty well. Fifty thousand words in, um, 26 days is pretty daunting! But I’ve done it before, and I hope to do it again.
Not that you’ve heard from me all that much (I couldn’t remember my password to get on my blog, for heaven’s sake), but now you might hear from me even less!
All is well here in Salt Lake City, I might add. I move into my own place on Monday (the 7th), and it’s right right right across the street from my Kat, Kev, and Cass. Cool beans! My job at the University of Utah is going very well — 15 hours a day, maybe, but still…I’ve worked that many hours a day for much less money, and far less joy. The students I have this session are a real joy. Gosh, but I love teaching ESL!
Back to work. Lots o’ words to type before I reach that magic number.
Love and peace,
